Error Message - uploading to Facebook

Hi there.

I am using HD Webcam C310 on Windows 7.

I am having problems uploading photos to Facebook from the webcam's software. I have installed the app properly and allowed all permissions. Everything looks as it should and runs great, the photos load all the way to 100%, then I get the error message

"xxxxxxxx.jpg -  Failed : Return status: 200 - "

I have allowed Facebook access to my webcam and it does recognize it when I prompt it to take a photo on my Facebook home page.  I have followed the advice in this post, and it still does not work.

I even removed the app and tried adding it again. I have also applied updates to my browser, and installed and applied updates to the C310 itself.

Still, nothing works.

I know there are other ways to upload to Facebook, but I really like that the Logitech software allows you to do it in just one click. Any help? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Laura

Re: Error Message - uploading to Facebook

I just called customer service with this exact same question.  I explained the situation politely and friendly-style, the guy said "let me put you on hold while I go to my laboratory..." And left me on hold without checking back for half an hour. Really, Logitech?

We were able to reproduce your uploading issues and are currently working with Facebook to come up with a solution.

Re: Error Message - uploading to Facebook

Hello PedroC,

I allowed the Logitech Apps to check for updates and installed 13 updates. Att this time, The app will not allow any comm with Facebook..

Error!

Connection Error.

Logitech webcam software is uanble to communicate with Facebook. Please check to be sure your internet connection is working properly.

Of course, my internet is working fine... I reset teh FB acct in Prefs with no change in symptom.

Any input would be appreciated.

Is there any update for this issue?  The wife is ready to chuck the camera and buy Microsoft.
