Hi there everyone.
I'm the so far frustrated owner of a QuickCam Fusion (M/N V-UAR33, P/N 861304-0000, PID LZ650BL) and so far I have not been able to install it properly and stable and it has been a week now of trying different aproaches and investigating this forum for similar problems, as much as the whole Internet.
My system is a WinXP SP2 Athlon XP 2500+ 1.5GB RAM and every installation attempt has been strictly following the recomended procedure (intalling software before pluging USB cable, allowing computer to restart after unstalling, etc)
The first installattion was with drivers contained in CD (10.5) and although installation of webcam looked fine, running was very unstable from minute one. Sometimes crashing computer, right from USB pluging (tried different USB ports), sometimes when QuickCam software atemted to obtain image from webcam, very often when closing QuickCam software, and always when Skype video settings attemted to show webcam image. Recently updated graphics drivers to latest release.
Secondary problem was that sound drivers for "USB Logitech Mic" showed on "Device Manager" as "not working properly" yellow mark.
As read in this forums, I tried to "solve" the crashing problem by downloading drivers package 11.0 and installing them (after unstalling 10.5) but this time neither video or sound drivers seem to install properly as both devices, although been recognaised, they appear with yellow marks in Device Manager and "Some problems occured during installation of drivers. Devices may not work correctly." taskbar message appears at the end of installation. Exact same results with drivers from 11.5.
So I'm between a sword and a hard place. Webcam hardly working rebooting my system every time I try to use it (10.5), or webcam drivers not installing properly at all (11.0 and 11.5)?
Has anybody got any idea of what could it be going on here? Any suggestions? Sure somebody must be able to see something that I am missing.
See image for Device Manager when drivers 11.0 or 11.5 are installed.

As a troubleshooting step, please try installing the camera in UVC Mode.
Thanks.
