Hello, I bought a new Logitech Quickcam pro 9000, I installed the webcam (in the same order the instructions said first the CD driver than plug the webcam when requested) and all install fine, but no matter what I do (if I uninstall and reinstall even if I format my Windows XP....I had never seen working the screen from 3megapixel and above neither HD 960x720 all I see when I tried to use from 3 megapixel and above (or HD 960X720) is the following image:
I had even upgrade the quickcam software to the one logitech offers every 15 or 20 days...still no luck, I'm not able to see any video if I use from 3megapixel and above from settings. Other megapixel do work and I can see myself without any problem, but I cannot use 3mb or HD. Any help or explanation of why this is happening since day 1 of webcam been buyed???
I have Windows XP 3 Service Pack, Nvidia graphic card, 1.8Ghz AMD, 1.5GB ram.
Thanks in Advanced.

What is the 860-xxxxxx (or 8xxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably, its USB\VID ID?
Thanks.

I apologize for not knowing the exact version of drivers and software I have right now. But, the install CD that comes with the cam says 'Quickcam v11.8' is that LWS 1.1?? since I had installed everything from the CD that comes with the cam. I had upgrade also the LWS software (don't known to which version exactly, but the one logitech offers to me...maybe 2.3.1?) and even with the software upgraded I still have the same problem. I can't see anything only a rainbow screen if I select HD or 3mb and above. below that yes, the cams work fine, but above 3mb or HD no, it doesn't work.

Hello people.
I have downloaded and installed LWS 2.31, and now everything is working great, I'm able to use HD and 8 megapixel on my webcam without any problem
so if anyone has the same problem as me, please don't delay to download and install LWS 2.31 which is an upgrade to all this.
Thanks in Advanced.
