Ok I have tried some things, and I am able to get the quality of video I desire if I use AMCap, however it comes with its own set of problems that are off topic such as the size of the files, dropped frames and I can't get the sound to work. I have tried several programs, and all of them give me the same results as the logitech software (**bleep**ty) except AMCap, which gives me the best results. If I delete all the logitech software and drivers will these programs like virtualdub record better videos?

What is the 860-xxxxxx (or 8xxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably, its USB\VID ID?
Thanks.

I don't know what usb/vid id is or I would tell you that too
Additional info, I've found if I use the medium resolution setting on the logitech software i can get a smooth capture, however the result is nothing close to what AMCap can get. And if I use large or optimized I'm lucky to get 5-10 fps even outdoors in broad daylight. I'm not sure why AMCap is the only program that will give me smooth high quality video and all the other ones havent been able to (debut, virtualdub, the logitech software, some other random programs I found on google)
Thanks for looking into this with me.
