All LWS users on Vista and Windows 7 who upgrade to IE 9 Release Candidate and install LWS 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 2.01 and 2.1 will see numbers appear instead of languages in the LWS Welcome screen.
Resolution:
This issue is addressed with our latest software release available on the web; however, if your install from CD with a version 2.1 or less, you will encounter the issue.
LWS versions with legacy installers (i.e. LWS 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 2.01 and 2.1) will be broken for all Vista and Windows 7 users who install IE 9 Release Candidate. You will be able to successfully install the software in the detected OS language by simply pressing the next button and continue to follow the installation path. If you want to change the language or install in something other than the default language, visit our website and download the latest Logitech Webcam Software for your camera (LWS 2.2 or higher).
