Hi
I have just purchased a QuickCam S 7500 and I use Windows Vista 64-bit
I've downloaded avatars and face accessories from
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/489/863&cl=au,en
The downloading instructions (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/488/650&cl=au,en) say I should be able to open the files to install them automatically. This is not the case.
How do I install my new avatars and accessories?
Thanks

Are the currently installed Video Effects functioning normally?
Thanks.

Hi
Yes, the currently installed avatars, accessories and effects function normally.
I just wrote a small program that extracts the contents of the LVA and LVF files to C:\ProgramData\Logitech\QuickCam\ModelData and I can get the new avatars to appear.
But I'm curious about how I'm supposed to install them normally.
Thanks

Thanks. I tried those instructions before.
When I double-click or open a .LVA or .LVF file, Windows asks which program I'd like to open it with.
I've tried each of the applications in the Logitech folder but none of them seem to do anything.
If I try looking at the Windows Registry for .lva and .lvf files I get an access denied error.
