LWS.EXE Process

I loaded the Logitech Webcam Software on two different laptops yesterday using the C250 webcam for use with Skype. Everything appeared to be working correctly. But when I finished using the webcam the LWS.exe process continued to consume 50-100% of the CPU cycles on both computers. Exiting Skype didn't help. I had to kill the lws.exe process using Task Manager.

What am I missing?

Re: LWS.EXE Process

Welcome to the Logitech Community Webcam Forum Josh2313! :smileyhappy:

1) What is the 860-xxxxxx (or 8xxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?

2) Which version of the Logitech Webcam Software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?

3) What Operating System (OS) and Service Pack (SP) version is installed?

Thanks.
