My C510 webcam works only in smallest resolution, and even then it's just for a few seconds(painfully slow picture and then it just stops). Otherwise it's just black. It's black in Skype and in WLM. I'd understand if it was due to slow connection, but it's like that when I'm using Logitech software, and it was the same with my previous Logitech cam. Whats the problem here?I was really happy that I got this cam
My computer isn't good enough to run a simple webcam?Could it be a video card problem?Light is on, voice recording works. I'm using Windows 7. When I go to testmycam.com/, webcam space is just white. Help please!

Hello dotty,
You mentioned having the same issue with a previous web camera on the same computer, did the camera work as expected for a period of time prior to experiencing the black screens? If you are using an external USB hub, dock or a USB extension cable, please remove them for troubleshooting purposes. I suggest checking your USB ports to be sure they are 2.0.

I think I solved the problem. It was plugged in the front panel usb, but then I tried to plug it in the back where the keyboard was and it worked. Then I just plugged it back in the front usb port and now that works too.
I hope it keeps working and thanks for your help!
