Hi,
I bought this webcam and every time I restart my computer get the same error:
"Windows can not start this hardware device because its configuration information (in registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)."
The thing is, my computer is dual boot, windows vista and windows 7, both 32 bits. But the error only occurs on windows 7.
To temporally solve the problem must go to Devices and printers on the start menu, Right click on HD C270 and then, Search for error solution. Microsoft says me that a needed update driver is required, clicking on Solve problem, it downloads and install it again, and it back to work, until the next restart.
How can I solve this problem?
Already try a Clean install but with no success.
Have the latest LWS installed.
Here the specs.
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits service pack 2
Video Card: HD 4650
Capture pci video card: ENLTV-FM
Sound Card: Creative soundblaster x-fi extreme music
3 gigs of DDR2 ram
Core 2 duo 8400
Hardware IDs
USB\VID_046D&PID_0825&REV_0010&MI_00
USB\VID_046D&PID_0825&MI_00
USB\VID_046D&PID_0825&MI_00\6&3A14AE7C&1&0000
A funny thing when looking the specs for the INF files.
oem18.inf
PID_0825.VISTA
Thanks.

Does this issue occur when the camera is installed in UVC Mode?
Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't understand the question. Did you mean the camera is plugged in when I turn on the computer? Yes! the camera is always connected to the PC. But I don't even try to unplug the device and start the computer then plug it in again.
Should I try this?
Thanks.
