So, i made it possible to make my webcam V-UAS14 quickcam to work on windows 7. Yet all i see here from the support is: Nope, sorry , can't do. I mean, really? that's the customer Service you offer? I mean i lost 4 hours to make that god **bleep** cam to work, but i did, i have no knowledge of computers, well yes i do know the basics, I used google and found my answer. took alot of time, but what i really want to know , is why a customer found an answer faster, then the people that produce it. it's possible to make it work, why do you just say an easy answer like "nope, sorry...Just buy another one from us. and repeat for every next microsoft OS"
"
sincerely,
Your ex-customer.

Seriously?
I mean.. I got to buy new hardware every time that microsoft wants to release new software? Dude that's awful..
Don't you care your customers? And to making things better.. One person find the way to make his quickcam works on CS Windows Seven and you just disapprove it? Wow you give such a good support to your customers that I only read one post and counted more than 3 that said "See you. Your Ex-Customer"
I had try to make my quickcam works on Windor Seven, unfortunately I just make the video works, my quickcam microphone doesn't work, if I had to buy a new webcam or rollback to XP I swear that I'll never ever buy any Logitech product again.
See You!
P.D: I sorry about my poor english. I'm from Uruguay and I speak spanish.

What is the 860-xxxxxx (or 8xxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?
Thanks.

Mind filling the rest of us in on what the fix is?
And I totally agree, Logitech is useless and has the worst customer service. They have made it VERY celar that Logitech is only concerned about selling more products and making more money. In reality it would take them less than a day to make a driver fix for windows 7 and this cam.
They actually prefer you throw the old cam out and buy a new product, and seeing that you used a Logitech cam before, you would be loayal to the brand and buy a new Logitech again. Not me though, I hate capitalistic companies.

I agree with several of the other posters here.
I will never buy another Logitech product again, as they cannot be bothered to continue to support products when a new operating system comes out.
Thanks for nothing Logitech,
