I keep getting this lv32 bluescreening my computer, EVEN WHEN LOGITECH QUICKCAMM not connected!
I have latest QuickCam and latest software, so... what gives?
I don't even show ANY Logitech product currently installed - I have a built-in Acer Orbicam and I went back to using it, because of the Logitech crashing issues; and so I uninstalled the Logitech stuff - sound like it maybe does NOT really uninstall fully?
Any help would be a appreciated. I have Vista Home Premium on Acer Aspire 5610-4648 laptop.
No Logitech devices show in the device manager
No Logitech software shows as being installed
There are some Logitech registry entries still remaining.
Would appreciate you Logitech folks figuring out this stuff, and also providing a "Logitech Registry Cleaner" to clean any left-over entries. Thx.

I wanted to provide minor update. I saw someone replied briefly, then deleted the reply.
1) Please provide a good set of "registry cleanup" instructions - because apparently Logitech is NOT fully uninstalled.
NOTE: This should NOT depend on the version of camera, but fyi, I have the following:
M/N V-UBK45
P/N 861223-0000
PID: LZ742BN
QuickCam CD with V11.1 software, which states "Windows XP, Windows Vista"
And, I repeat, I do NOT have any of this software currently installed (nor the hardware for that matter).
Again, any help on cleaing up this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thx.

Thaks, but as I said - I already uninstalled. Already did the checks for "hidden devices" - there are no hidden devices, yet the Logitech registry entries remain.
Mainly I am now frustrated enough that I just want to be RID of the Logitech software, but as I already stated: REGISTRY ENTRIES ARE LEFT OVER -
Does the "clean boot procedure" completely remove all Logitech registry entries?
If not, I will still need a script to rid my registry of ALL Logitech entries, or a process to accomplish that task.
I don't want to RE-install - I want to completely UN-install, since the software seems to be still "hanging around in my system" even after proper uninstall and so forth.
Thanks as always.

Sorry, I mistakenly thought you were an "expert" and, clearly, this is a request that must be pretty darned common (or as more people get suckered into Vista, it "will become" more common - thank heavens Windows 7 is close at hand ;-). Thanks, I will contact Logitech directly and/or remove the entries myself, using a procedure similar to 1 or 2 below (or I'll boot to Ubuntu and have no such problems ;-)
1) Manual/home-grown cleanup script
* Backup registry
* Find all entries containing Logitech (since the QuickCam is the only Logitech device I have)
* Then, kill, kill, kill
* Optionally, if registry entries do not grant access - temporarily open up access to said keys
* Additionally, if any entries are "non-dynamic," a reboot may be required.
Now, was that really all that difficult? I s'pose I can mung together a VBscript or Powershell script to axe all the entries.
I do happen to have a list of all entries that were added or changed, thus removal should be simple reversal of that.
2) Use ye olde RegCleaner - type tools - some of them have moderately good success (this would be a last resort)
Thanks again for the effort at least.
