Webcams

When I start the Quickcam software and click on Quickcapture, it shows no video. Also, when I start up oovoo, it says that usb controller bandwidth exceeded. Please help, I have clean installed twice, and it still doesnt work.

OS: WIN XP HOME SP3

Yes, I have a Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0, a Logitech G11 Keyboard, and a Netgear W111v3 wireless adaptor connected.

Does this issue occur when the "Netgear W111v3 wireless adaptor" is unplugged?

Yes, I unplugged the adapter, and I restarted my computer but I am still having the same issue.

Please post a copy of the setupapi.log... per the specific instructions mentioned.

Please post a copy of the previous setupapi.log for evaluation.

Hi, I finally found out what was wrong. I play a lot of computer games, and I want the best performance out of my mouse, so I overclocked the port. because of this, there was not enough bandwidth for my camera. As soon as I put the USB port hertz back to normal, my camera works now. I thank you for all your help.

ANSWER: DO NOT OVERCLOCK YOUR USB PORTS AND YOUR WEBCAM WILL WORK
