Logitech Quickcam Ultra Vision has been flipping upside down. GLITCH

Hello, I just recently purchased a Logitech Quickcam UltraVision and have been trying to use it on this website called stickam. When I go on-- The picture is perfect but it has been spazzing out and every couple of seconds it flips upside down a couple times in a row just twitching. I know it has nothing to do with the "Mirror, Upsidedown" options in the settings because those are turned off and it wasn't just staying upside down, it's twitching back and forth from right side up to upside down. I find it very annoying and I need to know what to do and how to fix this!!! I'm sorry if this question was already posted, I just want this resolved.. Please help!

Re: Logitech Quickcam Ultra Vision has been flipping upside down. GLITCH

Welcome to the Logitech Community Webcam Forum moeramone! :smileyhappy:

1) What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?

2) Which version of the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?

3) What Operating System (OS) is installed?

4) Does this issue occur when you use the camera in the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application, or only in your third-party Instant Messenger program?

Thanks.

Re: Logitech Quickcam Ultra Vision has been flipping upside down. GLITCH

I bought this camera off ebay and the bottom half of the black tag has been CUT OFF so I have no idea any of the numbers. It happens to every third party  (or other website) that I want to use the webcam with. The software I use is whatever downloaded when I plugged the camera in the computer if that makes sense. And this is what it says in the system part of my computer.

This is the only information I could find and I hope that it is enough, because I don't know how else I am supposed to find the numbers when they are cut off the tag!

SYSTEM: COMPAQ PRESARIO CQ50 NOTEBOOK PC

manufacturer: hewlett-packard

system type: 32-bit operating system

Re: Logitech Quickcam Ultra Vision has been flipping upside down. GLITCH

As a troubleshooting step, please try installing the camera on another PC.

Thanks.
