I envision it to be a multi-post thread with reference links only, but we'll see how it evolves once the software is released.
Only confirmed issues (three or more instances) with the following software packages will be posted here:
If you are new to the forum, please start your own thread for all troubleshooting related issues.

From here you will be able to add your application to the video effects supported list by selecting the settings option for the Video Effects applications support. If the issue continues to be encountered after enabling the application, contact support.

Released October 27, 2009
Note - Per Microsoft, this version of the software is rated "Compatible with Windows 7".
(Ref: Narrow your selection by: -> Company -> Logitech, Inc. -> Go)
IMPORTANT NOTES
1) For Windows 7, it appears that Windows Update is supplying the last Vista driver for cameras that are currently not supported by the LWS software application. At this time, it is unclear as to why this is occurring.
For these cameras, the installation of the "matching" QuickCam 10.x/11.x software application on 32-bit systems is not supported by Logitech.
Please note that for Windows 7, the installation of the QuickCam 10.x/11.x software application in "Compatibility Mode" is not supported by Logitech.
Please note that for Windows 7, the installation of the QuickCam 10.x/11.x software application using Windows XP Mode and Windows Virtual PC is not supported by Logitech.
2) For compatibility reasons, on Windows 7 x64, the installation of the QuickCam 11.9.0.1263 (and below) software application has been blocked by Microsoft.
3) For legacy camera support (i.e., QuickCam 8.x and below), please see the following thread: Why your (older) Logitech camera *may* not be supported in Vista.
Please note that the information provided in this thread applies to both Windows Vista and to Windows 7.
4) If for any reason, the Logitech software application is not installed, it is still possible for third-party applications to access *certain* camera specific features (e.g., PTZ control functions, etc...).
For more information, please see: http://www.quickcamteam.net/documentation.
5) Per FAQ #12712 -

5) Per FAQ #12712 -
- Cameras that are UVC capable (i.e., PRO5 models) can stream video without Logitech drivers. However, we recommend customers install the Logitech Drivers for an improved experience and expanded feature set. Improvements to the user experience include but are not limited to:
- Additional supported resolutions
- RightLight and Rightsound technologies
- Various Video Effects
