Logitech Webcam Software

Hello.

I have a question.

I searched the forums and didn't find a sollution to my problem.

Each time a record a video with my C910 the temporary file is made somewhere in the C:\ directories.

i want it to be made somewhere else, on a drive i can specify.

C:\ is low on space and if i record too much the recording stops.

I installed the software on a different drive hoping that the problem will be solved but the temp file is still eating space on C: drive.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

Couldn't find any option that helps me to move the destination of the temp file.

Thanx for your help in advance!

Re: Logitech Webcam Software

Hi crisdany,

If you go into the preferences from the main Logitech Webcam Software window then change to the quick capture tab you can change the directory it saves to by clicking browse to the right of the save directory that is listed and change it to a different location.

[ Edited ]

.

there is no browse button in the quick capture tab.

i would have attached a print screen to show u that there is no browse button in the quick capture tab, but the message doesn't have this feature.

there are browse buttons in the gallery tab.

with those options set to a different drive, each time i record 1080p the temp file "eats" my c: drive space.

all videos made below 1080p "eat" the space on the selected drive.

i have updated the software today. and the problem is not solved.

do i need a  firmware update?

so, the freekin' temp eats space on c: only in 1080p mode...

help me. thanx

Re: Logitech Webcam Software

Hello crisdany,

Generally the temp files used are located on the hard drive where the operating system is installed. After a bit of  research, I  found some information that may assist you. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/change-location-of-temp-files-folde...

I do not have the opportunity to test this with the Logitech Webcam Software.
