Logitech Webcam software causes Gadget / Sidebar crash in Windows 7 64bit

I have a Logitech Quickcam E-3500, and the Logitech Software causes the Windows 7 64bit Gagets / Sidebar.exe to crash at Windows Startup.

When I uninstall the Logitech software, Gadgets start up again when I launch them.

Another critique on Logitech Suport:  The E-3500 is currently on sale everyware, but no longer shows up on the Logitech Web site support section !
