I have a new computer with Windows 7 OS . I tried to use my webcam and also  to use the Quickcam software but it says they are incompatible with the OS

The cam info from the tag is as follows

M/N V-UBC40

P/N 861225-0000

PID LZ811B8

Will I really need to replace my webcam to use it with Windows 7 ?

Hi felixtoby,

Your webcam is fully compatible with Windows 7, however, the Quickcam Software (10.5) that you are installing is not. Please try downloading our Logitech Webcam Software (LWS 1.10 - 32-bit/64-bit) and you should have no troubles!
