Microphone/speaker hook up

We recently purchased the QuickCam IM Plus (E3500 Series).  We are trying to find out how to get the sound through our speakers.  As it is now, only the person wearing the headset can hear the call.  There is nothing on the box that indicates that the sound can not be hooked up to our computer speakers, and there is nothing in the book to give us direction in this matter.  We want to send this set up to two of our children (as Christmas gifts), but we want everyone in the room to be able to hear the conversation.  If we can not do this, we will be forced to return this set up and get someone else's system.  Please advise us in this matter.

Welcome to the Logitech Community Webcam Forum FSYost! Smiley Happy

Does this issue occur when the headset is not installed?

Thanks.
