Is motion detection available on the Logitech laptop webcams?

Yes, all of our current webcams have a motion detection option with our software installed.

Yes, I have two laptop webcams,
HOWEVER the motion detection software has several issues.
1. If you LOCK your laptop using the Ctrl Alt Del key the motion detection will stop.
2. The software stops recording one second after it starts unless is sees continuous motion,
resulting in a zillion little one second clips instead of a "video" which is what customers
are expecting.
One plus though , the motion detection doesn't false start with a dark screen like some softwares do.
But that being said If I want to use it for security purposes I use Biromsoft Webcam instead,
that way it will continue to record for an adjustable time limit and then will stop unless it is retriggered
within that time limit, (the way it should be).
