I also have this problem My quickcam pro 9000 is not detected by the Webcam Software although strangely I can see myself in
quick captute and motion control but cannot open the webcam controller to zoom etc. I can also see my self in skype but cannot control the camera.I have clean installed, reinstalled several times. I do not have Avnex Virtual Audio Device and the only virtual audio I can find is audio.pid.vxd in syswow64.
USB\VID 046D&PID 0990&rev0008&mi00
I have to say I am getting really despondent at ever solving this problem so please help.
Regards

Seems a bit odd replying to my own post but I didn't know how else to update it. I saw in another thread mention by KachiWachi that a Logitech keyboard and/or mouse(which I didn't have, I had Dell but maybe they are made by Logitech) may have a conflicting influence, which, added to my wife suggesting that I try her keyboard and mouse, caused me to swap my Dell products for her microsoft products and the webcam was immediately recognised by the Logitech software.I cannot understand why that would be but if you have the same problem, try the same solution as it might work for you.
