Hi, I was wondering why the new C920 camera does not have any 4:3 aspec ratios. I run a nature website that streams 4 cams 24/7 all in 4:3 aspect ration. The C910 has the best resolution and clarity. The other cams I use are the Pro 9000 series and they too have great resolution and clarity.

I just purchased the new C920 and am very disappointed that you've done away with the 4:3 aspect ratios. Why did you do that? I recently did a survey of all my viewers to see what monitors they use because I was trying to decide whether to go widescreen or not. I decided not to because out of nearly 600 of my viewers, 90% of them still use a monitor that is not widescreen. Have you ever tried to go full screen on a widescreen video on a 4:3 monitor? Kinda disappointing isn't it with the big black bars across the top and bottom.

I know that the technology is moving towards widescreen, but please add the 4:3 higher resolutions into the C920 platform. Quit taking things away from your cam's options.

Just as an FYI, if you install Google Analytics on your website you can see exactly what aspect ratio (including widescreen or not) each person views it as.  On our website we're running ~40% traditional, 60% widescreen.

As I read your thread, I still don't know if you ever found a solution to your desire to change the webcam's aspect ratio.  I am also wanting to have a wide screen view but don't know how to adjust the webcam setting.  Very, very frustrated!!!
