Good Morning!
My Orbit/Sphere AF works fine in Skype or other video software, including the Logitech's Quick Capture; however, in Logitech's Webcam Software, I get 'No webcam detected' message and cannot start the Webcam Controller (from any applications). This creates issues if I need to adjust my camera during the video chat.
I have reinstalled the software using the 'Clean' method already; however, it does not help. It detects it properly during the install, then does not display it at the selection at the end of the installation.
I believe this is the issue latest software/drivers and if there is no fix available, where do I download previous versions, because it used to work fine.
Here are my specs:
OS:
Windows 7 (32-bit)
Software:
Logitech Webcam Software 2.10.1224.0 (ENU)
Drivers:
Orbit/Sphere AF 13.10.1216.0 (11/9/2010)
Camera:
M/N: V-VCC22
P/N: 860-00063
PID: LZ746BA
Thanks,
Pasha

1) Is the camera being plugged directly into the PC's USB port?
2) Are any other USB devices currently installed/attached to your PC?
Thanks.

Hi KachiWachi,
1. Camera is plugged in directo into the PC's USB port.
2. The other USB devices include mouse, keyboard, printer.
It used to work before, but not anylonger. I have tried the previous software version today without any success either.
The camera is detected by OS and video chat programs, but not within the Logitech Webcam Software
Thanks,
Pasha

Hi!
I have the same problem. I'm running Windows 7-32bit on my PC. My camera was working fine with the latest drivers always downloaded automatically from the internet. Some days ago the webcam controller ceased to exist and i got the same message "no webcam detected".
Are there any news?

I gave up ![]()
As much as I like Logitech's cameras, their software/drivers are simply terrible.

Hallo Pasha,
I can understand you. The software from Lofitech is not really the best.
Perhaps you have a Logitech unifying receiver in your computer?
Than you need Setpoint 6.30 anf the cam was detected. That was the problem here.
With the Logitech unifying receiver the Logitech LWS can't dtected their own cam. It was detect by Windows 7 and under Windows XP (same computer) the LWS detect the cam but not under Windows 7.
The Logitech support here said, that was not a problem from Logitech, any other software is the problem. And for a few days I installed the new setoint software and now the LWS detect the cam.
Best regards
Markus

Marcus,
Thank you very much - installing the SetPoint drivers fixed the issue. So, why wouldn't Logitech support suggest that in their forums?
Thanks,
Pasha
