Hi, I've scoured the forums for hours trying to find a similar problem, to no avail.
I just did a fresh install of Winxp Sp2, all updated, etc, and installed Webcam software 2.0, build 13.0.1783. I am using a pro 9000 webcam (there is no tag with numbers on the wire as someone previously mentioned). System is a 2.4ghz P4, w/ 2gb ram.
Everything installed just fine. No errors, etc.
I can open the software just fine (gallery, motion detection, etc), and ALL functions work, except the one I need, which is the Quick Capture.
I can open the motion detector and see myself, so I know the camera physically works.
When I click on the "Quick Capture" it does absolutely nothing.
Is there something I overlooked on this??

Kachi,
While I definitely appreciate the response, it doesn't help. If you please re-read my post, this ia 100% fresh install of XP. Nothing has been even been installed on it aside from OS updates. I'm unsure of why doing the "clean" install, and installing the same exact thing would matter in this case.
Any other ideas??
