Recently my webcam stopped working. When I open up the webcam software I get no visual, but just a message; "A webcam was not found or is not working"
I uninstalled the drivers and software, and reinstalled, but no change. Tried this a couple of times, with reboots between uninstall and reinstall, but still nothing.
Under "Scanners and Cameras" in the control panel, my cam shows up, but when I open it, it just shows me one frame, but other then that, it does nothing. It's also listed in the device manager properly.
USB ports are also working correctly.
I tried the cam on a different PC, and it runs fine there.
Using Windows XP SP3

Please try reinstalling the Logitech Webcam Software "clean".
Thanks.

Thanks KachiWachi,
No luck with the clean install however. Already at the installation at step 1 where it asks me to plug in the webcam, there is no change in the installer. Just the buttons Cancel and Skip. When I plug it in, windows installs it though. Giving me the popup "your hardware is installed and ready to use.

I just installed some older drivers. (10.5.1.2029) and the cam works, but tells me; "You are using Windows (UVC) drivers, providing redused functionality. To get the best experience out of your camera, please install Logitech drivers."
Again, with this installation it was waiting for me to plug in the cam into a USB port. I did that, windows installed it, said it was done and ready to use, but the logitech installer was still waiting for a connection.

Only a Logitech G15 v2 Keyboard and G500 mouse. But they were working fine together before.

Yes, with or without the stand, the problem remains.
On the other PC it works just fine with the stand and without the stand.
