Quickcam 9000 loses clarity over time

I'm thinking it's corrupt drivers.

 

Here's the information that I think might help.

 

M/N: V-UBM46

Symptoms: 

 

Focus clarity is non existent any distance outside of 2 inches in front of the lens. I cannot exchange this camera, I"ve had it over a year. 

 

Ideas?

Please try reinstalling the Logitech Webcam Software "clean".
