I have a Logitech Quickcam Fusion V-UAR33 and am using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit but can't get it to work !
The driver from the camera selector http://www.logitech.com/en-us/435/278?section=down
While installing, it prompts me to insert the camera in a USB port, but upon doing so the webcam is not detected. I get a "incompatible webcam detected" error message instead.
I also tried the QuickCam 11.00 and QC11.8 drivers as suggested in other treads, but nothing works.
FYI: I restarted the PC, tried uninstalling all of the drivers, changed USB ports, etc...
Note that the camera works just fine on the same machine (dual boot) under Vista)
Can anyone please post a clear step by step explanation on how to get the camera working under Win 7 ?
I noticed many more people with the same problem via Google, but no solution though :-(
Thanks!
Stef

What is the 860-xxxxxx (or 8xxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?
Thanks.
