Ok so I have had this happen a few times and can't figure out why it does it but I will goto record an HD 1280x720 vid and it says its on that but the resolution itself is actually 800x450..the only way I was able to fix it before was to uninstall the software and drivers and reinstall it all over again which is quite time consuming..Is there a simple workaround or a driver fix for this..i have including a youtube vid to explain more as well...please help...

1) What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?
2) Which version of the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?
3) What Operating System (OS) and Service Pack (SP) version is installed?
Thanks.

Please report back in with your progress and updated status when you can.
BTW, you actually have one of the new Webcam Pro 9000 cameras, and not a QuickCam® Pro 9000 camera.
Thanks.
