Quickcam Pro 9000 Wont record in 1280x720, Its stuck on 800x450 Please Help

Ok so I have had this happen a few times and can't figure out why it does it but I will goto record an HD 1280x720 vid and it says its on that but the resolution itself is actually 800x450..the only way I was able to fix it before was to uninstall the software and drivers and reinstall it all over again which is quite time consuming..Is there a simple workaround or a driver fix for this..i have including a youtube vid to explain more as well...please help...

Welcome to the Logitech Community Webcam Forum dotnose! :smileyhappy:

1) What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?

2) Which version of the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?

3) What Operating System (OS) and Service Pack (SP) version is installed?

Thanks.

OK.

Please report back in with your progress and updated status when you can.

BTW, you actually have one of the new Webcam Pro 9000 cameras, and not a QuickCam® Pro 9000 camera.

Thanks.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000 Wont record in 1280x720, Its stuck on 800x450 Please Help

Ok well the webcam pro and quickcam pro are different how'? But the only way I was able to remedy the issue was to reinstall the software and drivers.. I called tech support and we talked and also said that it may be a driver conflict with my video driver ..I use Omega Drivers for my ATI card. He also said and i noticed after installing again that 800x450 shouldn't even be an available resolution but its what was showing up...

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000 Wont record in 1280x720, Its stuck on 800x450 Please Help

Does this issue occur when third-party video recording software (e.g., AMCap) is in use?

Thanks.
