What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?
Thanks.

I purchased a Logitech QuickCam v11.7 for my daughter about 10 months ago. Her PC was running Windows Vista.
I recently purchased a laptop for her. The new machine runs Windows 7, and I found that your software is not compatible with the new OS.
Is there a software upgrade available?
Thank you.

Hello KachiWachi,
my camera looks like QuickCam® IM™ to me:
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/435/222?osid=14&bit=
Camera's identification numbers are:
m/n: V-UBB39 p/n: 861224-0000 pid: LN61382
USB\VID IDs:
USB\VID_046D&PID_08D9&REV_0100&MI_00 USB\VID_046D&PID_08D9&MI_00
I used to run it under Windows XP with Quickcam v11.8 and had no problems.
Since I migrated to Windows 7 (at the moment 32 bit, but with a new laptop surely 64bit) I cannot find apriopriate drivers. Which drivers should i use for Win 7? Quickcam 11.8 seems not to be compatibile with Win 7 anymore.
Thanks a lot!
