Hi
I've been trying to find a utility to pull raw data off my webcam, and thought i'd found one on quickcamteam.net, but the website appears to be down. The latest google cache I can find of it is a week old and I can't actually download the zip file (Bayer2-1.exe I believe)
My emails to the team there also seem to have bounced, so...
Anyway, any help, info, (or if you've got the offending file) would be mightily appreciated.
Cheers!
Matthew

Hi MJack301,
The quickcamteam.net site is indeed offline at the moment. Since this site is not maintained by Logitech's support team, we do not have any additional information on the status of this outage. We will update the community if we receive more information from the site owner.

I have the same problem, need some PDF and ZIP files from quickcamteam.net:
- Logitech UVC Driver Public Property Set Specification (Revision 3, 2009-06-24)
- The example ZIP from http://www.quickcamteam.net/documentation/how-to/h
Please bring quickcamteam.net back online! If this is not possible, then please upload the examples and PDF documents somehwere else, for example here.
@MJack301: To get direct access to the camera you need the Windows SDK with DirectShow. With it comes an example application which streams the webcam images into a simple window. Maybe this is what you need. After you have installed the SDK you will find the example MSVC project in path/to/sdk/samples/multimedia/directshow/capture/

Is there any update on the status of the quickcamteam.net site? We would like to be able to support the Orbit/Sphere cam in one of our products, but need to obtain some cam specific information.
The site has been down for some time now.
Thanks for update.

Hi AlexSoya,
I've been told that the quickcamteam.net site has been shut down, and currently there are no plans to re-launch it. We will update the community if the situation changes in the future.

Ok, so the site has lost life support, but has anyone managed to salvage some of the documentation off of the quickcamteam.net site? If you happen to have anything, do you mind posting it up for retrieval?
If you are looking for the Bayer source code, you'll be able to download it from...
http://mesh.brown.edu/byo3d/source.html
It's included in the Structured Light scanner. The direct link is...

I forgot to mention that there is a compiled version of the bayer.exe program in a zip file provided by the site I noted above.
Note: You must use an older version of the driver to be able to get any sort of recognizable images out of the camera in bayer mode. Go to ftp://ftp.logitech.com//pub/techsupport/quickcam and the lsw110.exe drivers should do the trick.
