Software for (QuickCam® Chat for Skype) doesn't work

I've tried installing qc1150.exe from 4 different download locations. It proceedes too load/extract, but it just closes doing nothing.

 

I have windows XP sp2.

I am using the QuickCam® Chat for Skype

I have tried installing it while the webcam is and is not plugged in

The computer recogonizes the webcam as a camera, but can not find the hardware

The green light is on the camera

What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?

Thank you for your quick reply and warm welcome.

 

I'm sorry, I'm not able to find that on the camera. Though on http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/405/&cl=us,en?prodcrid=405, it is the 3rd camera from the left (The blue one)

I'm going to try installing the one for Windows 2000.

 

 

It worked.
