Windows XP Pro.
QuickCam Orbit AF - 860-000063
I downloaded the software and when I tried to install, it went about 1/3 of the way (progress bar) and stopped. I let it set there for about an hour but it wouldn't do anything more, so I closed it down using the Task Manager. I went back and tried again to install it and after I agreed to everything and clicked NEXT, it disappeared. I went back and downloaded it again, thinking I may have a corrupt file, but when I tried to install the new one, it also disappeared at the same point.
I'm semi-computer literate but I have no idea what to do from here.
If you have a cure that will let me install the software, it would really be appreciated.
Thank you.

Please try reinstalling QuickCam "clean".
Thanks.
