System shuts down when trying to capture a video with Logitech app

hi,
i just downloaded and installed newest drivers from Logitech for my webcam and when i try to capture a video, after countdown, computer shuts down. i can take photos, but video just doesn't work. can you help me, pls?
info about my system and webcam:
Camera Marketing Name = Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000
USB PID BCD = 09900008
Software Version = 13.00.1783.0
CPU = Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz
RAM = 768.00 MB
O.S. = Microsoft Windows XP Professional : 5.1.2600

solved with change from NTSC to PAL.
(in the latest drivers there is no explanation that PAL is for Europe and NTSC is for America)
