I recently purchased the C160 Webcam and when I go to install the software on the CD, the installer pops up with a blank window. I have tried downloading other software but the same thing happens every time. I am running Windows 7, 64 bit.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Charles

Hello Charles1986:
Thank you for posting your issue to the Logitech Community Forums.
In a situation like this uninstall the software and create a new Admininstrator Account. To do this"
1)Click Start
2)Click onControl Panel
3)Click on User Accounts
4)Click on Manage Another Account
5)Create a New Account
6)Name the Account
7)Click on Administrator and
8)Click on Create New Account
Once you have created the new Administrator Account, please reload the software and you should get the screens necessary to download the Logitech Webcam Software.
Hope this helps!
Regards

When I try to install the webcam on my new Windows 7 pc, the install window is blank. The software worked fine on our previous computer that had XP.
I tried installing the software from the CD, downloading the software from the website - blank install window. I tried creating a new Administrator Account, to no avail. Tried turning off the UAC controls, disabling Windows firewall and Windows defender, removing McAfee software, disabling AVG...sigh.
Help! I need the webcam for school.
