Hi there,
I've got a new iMac with Mac OS 10.6.7
I bought it 2 months ago and from day one, I've been using a Webcam pro 9000. I just plugged it in (USB) and was working fine since then. Use it mainly for Skype.
Today, for no particular reason, the mac does not recognize the camera. I unplugged it and put it back on... nothing. The computer only sees the built in iSight camera...
Can someone help on this problem?
Camera:
M/N: V-UBM46
P/N: 860-000109
Thanks

Hi fragygr,
Is your Pro 9000 plugged into a USB hub or extension? If so, please remove your webcam and plug it directly into your computer.
Please also check your settings within Skype, which can be done by the following steps:
- Tools > Options
- Select Video Settings and select your webcam from the drop down menu
If your webcam is not listed, that means your device is not enumerating correctly. Please contact Customer Support in your region for further assistance/warranty information.
Best Regards,
