What Webcam do I have. need driver. Instalation cd says 8.4.8 on it &theres no model #/name (Vista)

[ Edited ]
I do not know what webcam I have and cannot install it on a Vista Home (new computer HP)

There is no model #/name on it or the instalation cd. It looks like my computer is not reading the CD
because it is scratched. Do not have the box.
It only says Quickcam 8.4.8 instalation for WIndows on the CD.
It was purchased in 06, worked on a HP XP home edition.

the camera is similar to the Quickcam Communicate series with the weird flexi stand thing.
It is Blue/Grey in color with the top part being grey. It says logitech on the top (grey area). Behind the logitech logo and name is a button and in front of it is an integrated microphone. The lens area is surrouned by black. purchased in 06 probably made in 05

What WEBCAM do I HAVE????????? 8.4.8

Welcome to the Logitech Community Webcam Forum lantonelli13! :smileyhappy:

Please read my personal welcome thread (ALL POSTERS -- How to get the most from KachiWachi and this forum) as we progress. Thank you.

What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably...the USB\VID ID?

Thanks.
