[XP Pro 64 Bits] HD Pro Webcam C910 does not work

Hello,

I have purchased a HD Pro Webcam C910.

Nice cam! Perfect quality even under bad light circumstances. Sound is good. (A bit to much base for me.)

But.... I only get it to work on mij home computer running Windows 7, or in a virtual machine running Widows XP Pro 32 Bits.

My laptop however, running under Windows XP Pro 64 bits....... no go.

(The virtual machine I just mentioned, runs on this laptop, so the hardware should not be a problem)

I have returned to the store that sold me the cam, and they tried everything they knew to get it working, but without positive result.

Help? Please?

Friendly greetings
Rens Duijsens

Welcome to the Logitech Community Webcam Forum RensD! :smileyhappy:

What is the 860-xxxxxx (or 8xxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably, its USB\VID ID?

Thanks.

Re: [XP Pro 64 Bits] HD Pro Webcam C910 does not work

Does this issue occur when the Logitech Webcam Software (LWS) 2.10.1224 (a.k.a. QuickCam 13.10.1224) is installed?

Thanks.

Re: [XP Pro 64 Bits] HD Pro Webcam C910 does not work

To add some information:

The info I just provided is inside the VmWare machine. In this environment the cam works.

But of cause you need the information in the XP Pro 64 Bits environment.

This is: USB\ VID_046D&PID_0821\064C2D90

KachiWachi: Does this issue occur when the Logitech Webcam Software (LWS) 2.10.1224 (a.k.a. QuickCam 13.10.1224) is installed?

I have installed the suggested software.

After reboot an error message appears:

As a result, the Logitech Wabcam Software shows:

This is Dutch, roughly translated: "No webcam found", "See your webcam is properly connected".

Friendly greetings,
Rens

Does this issue occur when the camera is installed in UVC Mode?

Thanks.
