Hey,
I have installed win7 RC x64 on my Asus P5K based machine. It has as Qickcam Pro 9000 connected, which works fine with Vista64 using Vid and Skype. On win7 some basic drivers are obviously installed by the OS itself after using Windows Update. No yellow question marks in device manager and so on, but with the last update obviously an external installation package coming from logitech started which reported that it is not supported on this OS version. Any ideas how I could get this to work so I have the Logitech Webcam Software and Vid installed.
the final release for Win7 will be available in a few weeks (if we can trust Microsoft) and I guess Logitech should have at least some beta or RC software in store somewhere.
BR,
Stephan

I just found the link to lsw and download it. Im planning to do a clean install. Will this software allow me now to install safely the video effects features on my logitech QC Connect 860-000114 on win7-64 RC1. Previous post says " errors are encountered with video effects installed." My webcam works ok but still no video effects, privacy shade and video capture function are unavailable after just updating software and not clean installation....
Thanks
