it has been a YEAR and it is STILL not fixed?

time to sell my c920, get lifecam studio and forget about you guys, it is a disgrace that you don't care about fixing BUGS in your software in a YEAR time...

most my peripherals (speakers, keyboards, webcams, mouses) on two of my home pcs and laptop are logitech... i was happy with them most of the time, but i guess i need to consider another options next time im going to buy something

I'm working on a live performance that requires precise settings for all webcam controls.  We have 4 Logitech HD webcams (2-C910s, B910, C920) and bought them specifically because of the amount of manual control available.  I am extremely disappointed to find out that the controls have to be reset each time we reboot or if a webcam is disconnected.

I have spoken to one level of Logitech tech support who confirmed this "feature" of automatic reset.  She escalated my issue saying that I would receive a call back in 48 hours.  That was 5 days ago. 

 I can't even imagine why why Logitech would design software that won't keep user settings in place.  Why is there is a SAVE button if it only saves the settings temporarily?

Those are philosphical (or rhetoric) questions. More importantly:

1.  Will Logitech listen to users complaints and make necessary corrections?

or 2. . If it's been decided not to allow users to save settings, can we change the Default settings file somehow to match preferred setting?

or 3..  Can I return 4 HD webcams to Logitech as not operating correctly due to software defect?

EDIT: This applies to LWS 2.x only as the LogiDPPApp.exe is not present in earlier versions of the software.

• find LogiDPPApp.exe

(it is located in c:\Windows\system32\ (32bit windows) or c:\Windows\SysWOW64\ (64bit windows))

• create shortcut to that program in c:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\

after each system start you will be presented with camera settings options, just uncheck autofocus...

hopefully someone will have better idea soon

Guys, don't you get it, once you've bought the camera no one is going to care.

There are issues with Logitech software that has been complained about on here for 3+ years

and the best answer they give is, Thats the way it's designed.

Gee, ya think? 

I guess the only real solution after buying another brand, is to start a webpage so the entire universe can see it explaining how Logitech DOES NOT LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

maybe after the loss of millions in sales, The board of directors will ask why.....

Could you tell when you expect the bug to be fixed? We have a customer waiting...

The customer thinks about buying anew camera, but we would like to continue with logitec, but this bugfix is a must...

it doen'st make any sense to take 3 years to fix the autofocus problem - we have a few C910 and the autofocus makes us crazy!!!! Please fix the probelm.
