multiple webcam issues- being used by another program and flat out not working (Vista x64)

It's saying it's in use by another application when none were using it. It stopped after I rebooted my computer and now it's just not working. It doesn't show up at all when I use Logitech Vid and when I use the program it came with for a quick capture all i see is blue and black strips with teal horizontal dashes through it. Then it went back to in use by another application. When I pressed reconnect, it just flat out stopped working.

Which version of the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?

Did you by any chance install Dell Video Chat or SightSpeed software on your computer?

No. Only new program I installed besides Logitech QuickCam was Logitech Vid

Does this issue occur when the Logitech Webcam Software (LWS) 1.00.1280 (a.k.a. QuickCam 12.00.1280) is installed?

Does this issue occur when the camera is installed in UVC Mode?

I'm not sure. I don't think it is installed in UVC mode.

But, I unplugged one day by mistake and windows said it wasn't working and I had to reinstall the drivers and it seems to be okay right now.
