I have a QuickCam® for Notebooks
M/N: V-UBS47
and a new computer with Windows 7. I just plugged in my webcam, tried to get the driver, and found out there is no choice for windows 7 when I hit "download" and then "choose OS"
serious!? augh!!!!!!!!!!! that's horrible! is there any way to get a driver for this cam with windows 7?
currenlty I'm downloading the XP version of the driver to see if it will work "just in case"
thanks

Thanks KachiWachi!
:-)
I am reading your post and signature and trying to understand it.
I've clicked on the page linked to see if that helps.
I did try to download the XP driver but to no avail. It wasnt compatible and wouldn't even load. I'm sad as I had a 2 year warranty on this cam but what use is it if it wont work with windows 7 and there is no upgrade/patch?
I have the windows 7 home premium, 64 bit
whatever that means... hehe
S
UPDATE : I've looked up my camera in the link u sent, and the Quickcam 10.5 driver will fit my cam. however the 10.5 cam driver also does not work on windows 7 :-(
I will contact logitech support at ur link above and see if there's a patch
