i recently bought the C 310 and install the software.when i launch the logitech web cam software i cannot use the quick capture as well as the web gallery and motion detection,i click on them but nothing happen, not even an error sign.And also when i click the gmail icon it says 'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.Create an association in the folder options control panel".when i go to the folder option i don't know which file extention to choose for gmail.It goes the same for other application such as the fast Access icon and magix photo manager9 etc ,when i click on them nothing happens and when i click the "learn more" or "get it now " at the bottom it  also says 'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.Create an association in the folder options control panel"..

Hello kima,

Please remove the camera and uninstall the software . Reinstall in clean boot mode http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/228/~/booting-clean-in-windows-7,-vista,...

You may also need to temporally disable virus protection software . Please provide your operating system version and the M/N and P/N of your camera located the tag attached to the USB code .

ive reinstall my software and the quick capture and motion detection works fine but the fast access and the magix photo manager9 are still having the same problem.my OS is windows xp sp2,my  M/N-VU-0015 and my P/N-860-000259

Are you able to start Photo Manager 9 from your Start >programs ?

There is no Photo manager 9 on Start >programs

However there is program > logitech > logitech Vid HD and logitech webcam software

Only this two are available

Fast Access http://www.logitech.com/en-us/69/7084 and Photo Manager 9 http://www.logitech.com/en-us/69/7083 are sample applications that will require installations but are not needed for the operation of your C310. If you have installed these programs already, I suggest removing and reinstalling them.
