Webcams

I have an S5500 web cam and use (choke gasp) non-logitech software to run it.  EVERY time my machine reboots the Logitech configuration widow comes up, insisting I interact with it before it will go away.  I uninstalled the Logitech software using Programs control panel - and IT IS STILL THERE!   Is there any way to get rid of this behavior short of throwing the web cam away?
