1) What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably...the USB\VID ID?
2) Which version of the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?
3) What Operating System (OS) is installed?
Thanks.

Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility (Microsoft KB #290301)
The Microsoft Knowledge Base article sez -
You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
Please report back in with your progress and updated status when you can.
Thanks.

Earlier in this thread, Doug64 sez -
i am having trouble uninstalling my old web cam [...] and it will not let me reinstall it either.
Are you able to reinstall the camera software/drivers now?
Thanks.

When i try to reinstall cam software i get a logitech box come up about 10 seconds into the install saying
Install wizard interrupted (with a red cross beside those words)
The wizard was interrupted before logitech quickcam could be completely installed
click finish to exit wizard
Thanks Doug
