I need a device to record still photos and video in closeup mode- the target will be 3-5 inches away. A webcam would be ideal if it can record closeups. Whis of the logitech webcams would be best? I'm new to this world of webcams, and the Logitech website won't allow me to download full manuals to find out this information myself.
Thanks
The webcam will be used to record ion trails in a cloud chamber. It will be subjected to high magnietic fields, up to .5T

Hello richtell,
Since none of our web cameras would have been tested for those conditions, it's difficult to say how they would react to a high magnetic field. Here are links to the technical specifications of the web cameras currently offered on the US web site.
