I just bought a webcam C110 for my Win xp 32. directly plug on my mother board.
I followed the instruction to install the driver lws230.exe.
the webcam is detected by windows but it doesn't find the driver and ask for one.
i have tried lws230_full.exe without success.
what can I do ?
thanks,
Emmanuel

in the document :
I saw :
lvUVCv.inf
USB\VID_046D&PID_0829 ; Logitech Webcam C110
USB\VID_046D&PID_082B ; Logitech Webcam C170
but I haven't seen lvUVCv.inf in the lws230_full.exe package ?
My webcam is still detected but without driver...

Finally the problem is resolved.
The following INF must be present in %windir%\inf
- ks.inf
- usb.inf
- usbvideo.inf
- wdmaudio.inf
- wdma_usb.inf
and usb.inf was missing in my system...

A copy of the missing INF file can be found on your Windows installation CD.
If the CD is not available, you can get a copy of the missing INF file from another PC that uses the same Operating System (OS) and Service Pack (SP) version that yours does.
Thanks.
