Webcams

hi!

i have one question about webcams. i have model c270. i bought it on recommendation, but it is too heavy to handle with my android box. so, i need something with "lighter" picture and resolution. i'm looking at models c110, c170 and c210.

but, when i compare them, there is one thng that is not clear to me. "CORDED". on "first ball", that is something that have cord installed, attached. my c270 has cord, but it is not checked under corded row?! so, what i'm missing there?

and, if somebody knows to tell me which model of those three above is most similar to my c270? i do not need HD! i do not need plenty of megapixels. i need it for skype and that is all. it must have microfon incorporated and all wiring _must_ go via usb. no additional microfone cord and plugs.

according specifications, i must buy c110 or c170, but that "corded" check confuses me.

Hi viking_cro,

Corded just means that the webcam has a cord and isn't wireless. I believe it's a mistake that it is not checked for the C270.

The C110 or C170 should work fine for you.

ok, now is clear. first i was thinking that those have some extra cable for microphone. but, what about c210? is that some older model? in specifications, i can see that only 210 has 640*480, what is basically good enough for skype, especially on souch android boxes where i want to use it:  http://geniatech.com/pa/ATV1000.asp

so, for now, can you confirm me that all of those three cams 110, 170 and 210 have microfon incorporated, and all of them use ONLY usb connection, without any additional microphone cable?

Hi viking_cro,

All 3 of those webcams should be fine. They only have one cable, which is a USB cable, and a built in microphone.
