Blue Iris

Works with Wilife cameras when you enter HTTP/web port of 8080 and RTSP/video port of 5802.

Great, I might try it this weekend.  I just want to do anything to get away from using Command Center or the website and all their problems.

This morning I have been receiving:

WiLife Online Application Error

The web server encountered an unexpected condition and is unable to complete your request. This is not a problem with your browser or computer. Please try your request again later.

Re: Blue Iris

Check that you set the IP address of the camera to match that specfied within Wilife Command Centre.

Re: Blue Iris

Hi, Just to be clear, I'm using the WiLife cameras that are plugged into the homes power plugs and have a WiLife USB device plugged into an outlet next to my computer. A USB cable comes out of that device and goes into my computer. My USB Powerline adapter has an IP address and a subnet mask, but I don't see where in the settings I can set a port number of 8080. Or is this setting a setting I should enter in Blue Iris? thank you, Zareh

Re: Blue Iris

Hi,

I haven't bought blue iris yet but I probably will.

I was using the trial version and the only way I could get the cameras from wilife to show up was by having the command center running.  If the command center was not running, blue iris never sees the cameras, but when it was, blue iris saw them just fine (so did the command center).  I did not experience any issues running the command center and blue iris at the same time, in fact I was able to see video on my smart phone for the first time (thru blue iris web server).  I too have the usb networking for the cameras and yes the cameras are on their own private network.  I am not sure why I had to have the command center running but I think it has to do with the usb powerline adapter.

Re: Blue Iris

This is not supported by Logitech, but out of curiousity is your computer on the same network as the cameras?

Re: Blue Iris

Sorry I got confused when  you said "the cameras are on their own private network.  "
