Security Camera Hookup ...

I want to use the cameras using PoE (Power Over Ethernet) given my house is already wired, but with Cat-4 cable (two twisted pairs ... four total wires). Will this cable work with the cameras? I assume I can figure out the router side for PoE capability.

Hello JMD2,

 

Unfortunately you would have to have all cat5 cables in order to power our cameras on PoE.
