Hello. I can access the WiLife web site on my HTC Android operating system phone but when I go to view my cameras I either get a request to install Silverlight (which is not supported by Android) or if I choose the standard settings I get a large square with a box in the middle and nothing else.
I assume that WiLife video isn't supported within the Android environment on a phone like the HTC Desire.
Is there a way to view the cameras or is there some physical (video driver maybe) reason why it can't be done? Any ideas??
The screen resolution is 480X800 WVGA. Frther specs can be found here
thanks in advance

There would need to be more detail given and some troubleshooting involved to help you on this one so I suggest you call the Logitech WiLife customer support line and they will help you get it working.

I know it's boring with posts that state the same problem as the topic starter, but i do have the same problem, and since nobody gave any technical details....
HTC Desire, Android 2.2, i can login to online.wilife.com but it requires silverlight. Can we use other technique than silverlight ? Flash, Java......
These cameras are quite expensive given the fact that they are not professional cameras and the amount of help that we get from Logitech is almost inexistant.
I have at least 2 other issues that were never resolved, i only got the answer : We don't support that !
Come on Logitech ! Even the cheapest webcams from DLink support rtsp protocol or something similar.

Due to the fact that the cameras are designed to encode in Windows Media Format, we may only offer support for Windows Mobile devices with Windows Media Player installed.
Android phones do not offer a method of playback for Windows Media Formatted streaming video, and if it did, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that it would work.
