Wilife Master System File Management

After a system crash I had to setup my system. Could recover all data (video files) in appropiate folders. Did setup the Wilife software completely new without problems. Joined files into newly created folder. Still in playback mode the "old" videos wouldn't show up. WHAT TO DO? There is no way to make the system reindex the old stuff or whatsoever.

Re: Wilife Master System File Management

O.k.

Fortunately I can finally post the solution myself.

I WAS IMPATIENT!

About 24hrs later the system must have done kinda index rollup and found all the video files and properly registered it so they're all visible in the playback overview (and of course playable) now.

Just wanted to close this properly so that maybe someone else in the future can find this information: Give time to your wilife file management, it really needs it and does something though not showing it. :-)

Greetz to all.

Re: Wilife Master System File Management

I recommend you to take a look at this file management software. You can set up your own file server for managing and sharing files through web browser. It's like DropBox but self-hosted so that you can keep all your confidential files on your own server. The web based UI looks and feels like Windows 7 Explorer. It offers features that are not possible with a FTP server such as zipping files, downloading multiple files and folders in single download etc. It's also easier to set up and administrate than a FTP server.
